As part of the Christmas festivities, it is authorized during the Christmas period to practice the traditional "serenade" on the territory of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, from Monday, December 19, 2016 to Wednesday, January 4, 2017, from 19 p.m. to 2 a.m.
This temporary provision, framed by Presidential Order No. 089-2016, applies to any person or group of musicians wishing to play serenades from house to house or from neighborhood to neighborhood. During these musical performances, only acoustic instruments are authorized. No float or parade is authorized on the public highway without the express authorization of the territorial authority. The Collectivity of Saint-Martin thanks you for your understanding and for the strict application of this territorial decree.
