On December 3, the director general of the health agency of Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, Valérie Denux, representing the Minister of Solidarity and Health, and the Minister of Health of Sint-Maarten, M .Lee signed a letter of intent which provides for the establishment of working groups in order to organize access to care for patients from both parts of the island and to build together access to healthcare establishments in the Guadeloupe and Martinique.
This signature also took place on the occasion of the laying of the foundation stone of the new Sint-Maarten hospital, which will see the light of day in 2023. The work on reflection on the collaborations will take into account the project of this new hospital so that the complementarities are lasting. This first step aims to build together the medical landscape of Saint-Martin.
