The Leo Club Service handover ceremony took place on July 4 at the restaurant "Les pieds dans le sable et au bord de l'eau" at the Hommage hotel, in Nettle Bay. Thus, Nakeeley Flanders cedes the presidency to Izara Richardson.
“It was during a friendly and intimate day that we were able to welcome our friends Lions and Leo from Sint Maarten, our immediate Past Governor and 2nd Vice-Governor of Guadeloupe, the president of the Lions Club of Martinique , the Lions of the clubs of St Martin and the parents who wanted to accompany us by their presence at our handover. We thank them for their support ”, underlines Sandra Fleming, World Team Coordinator for District 63 Antilles and French Guiana.
The immediate Past President Nakeeley thanks all members and applicants for having actively participated in many projects and activities such as the collection of school materials, toys, their participation in the Epelle-moi contest, the Let's Paint & Chat activity with our seniors, food collection for the island of St Vincent, hygiene kits for our homeless, Dinner in the Dark etc….
This new year is about recruiting and promoting the Leo Club.

As a reminder, young people aged 12 to 18 who join a LEO CLUB make new friends and discover the satisfaction of working for the community through various activities and social projects based on the axes established by the Lions Club International.
LEO CLUBS offer volunteer opportunities to young people while providing them with an ideal environment to grow, develop and train.
