The co-financing of the Northern Islands seconded chamber of the Basse-Terre tribunal de grande instance was approved at the last Territorial Council.

The Collectivity will participate in the renovation work of the old library in Marigot to the tune of 150.000 euros (600.000 for Saint-Barthélemy). Only Jules Charville abstained during the deliberation considering this amount as "a gift to the State". The building - which should be operational in June 2017 - will accommodate 25 officials, including 9 agents, 5 new magistrates, an investigating judge and a local judge. New services will be offered by the chamber, including the reception of victims and simplified legal aid. Regarding the works, they will start next month. _EH
