The “Maxime Bechu Challenge” tournament had its epilogue last Thursday, at the Tennis Club Ile de Saint-Martin, with the program, the youth finals contested in six different categories according to age (red for 6/7 year olds, orange for 7/9 year olds, Green for 9/10 year olds and 11/14 year old and 15/18 year old categories).
In the presence of the two Saint-Barthélemy clubs (ASCCO and SBT) and the Port de Plaisance, supervised by Amandine, Brice and Laurent, the “Maxime Bechu” Challenge was once again a frank and clear success with young enthusiasts of the little yellow ball. The members of the Tennis-Club Ile de Saint-Martin were thus able to measure themselves against new opponents, licensed in neighboring clubs. The organizer and teacher within the TCISM, Robin Villette would like to thank Olivier and Valérie Bechu who fully contributed to the success of the tournament (accommodation for young people, purchase of prizes and taking charge of the Thursday meal for all participants). The club also congratulates the volunteers, the TCISM teachers and the outside clubs for their help, the parents, Sportech, sponsor of the tournament as well as the director, Carole Henry for the sponsorship of the cups.
Among the highlights of the tournament, let us note the performances of Danerick Bosqui who won the green tournament, Alice Porzier, brilliant finalist of the reds, Erwan Siffer, winner in 15/18 years and Wissem Khalfaoui who won in the 11/14 years category . _AF
