CGSS: "the reality of the territory" will be taken into account

0

The management of the General Social Security Fund of Guadeloupe (CGSS) listened last week to the CCISM to the complaints of nurses and physiotherapists at home. A working group will soon be created to find common ground. Update with the assistant manager of the Caisse Béatrice Resid.

Nurses and physiotherapists at home denounce the non-reimbursement of their travel expenses. Concerning these kilometric allowances, they went from “mountain” zone to “plain” then to “agglomeration”.

Why did you make such a decision?

First of all, it is the management of the CGSS who organized this meeting of almost 3 hours. We had a very high quality exchange and understood the difficulties they encounter on a daily basis. Concerning the reimbursement of travel expenses, we were obliged to take measures, because the “mountain” and “plain” increases are not provided for by the texts of the CGSS. Yes, we noticed that the texts were badly applied. The island of Saint-Martin is considered an "agglomeration", it would therefore be necessary to leave this area to be reimbursed. In addition, certain anomalies relating to reimbursements were observed.

What are you going to offer them?

For now, we will study their proposals. We plan to set up a working group to find solutions together. They will have to describe their daily practices to us. In some cases, Saint-Martin is considered to be a “mountain” area, because yes, there has indeed been a municipal decree in this sense. These professionals have applied these regulations in good faith. But it is not this text that we apply. This working group will allow us to reflect on the evolution of the text of the CGSS so that it better corresponds to the reality of the territory.
