The Collectivity of Saint-Martin presents its sincere condolences to the family of Jean-Barry Hodge, aka Ma´at King who left us suddenly.
Jean-Barry Hodge was a Saint-Martin figure, first of all by his talents as a singer but also for his fighting spirit and his social commitment, in particular in 2021 in opposition to the compulsory vaccination against the Covid19 virus.
Committed activist, man of convictions, Jean-Barry Hodge was above all a father and we are thinking today of his children and loved ones who must overcome the difficult ordeal of mourning.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin, its president Louis Mussington and all the territorial elected officials, join in the pain of his family and loved ones and send them their unwavering support.
As Ma´at King said: “Courage, above all things, is the first quality of a warrior”. He was a Soualigan warrior and will never be forgotten.
