End-of-life vehicles (ELV) are a real scourge in Saint-Martin. Until July 31, a free collection service will be offered to individuals.
This operation to remove the carcasses of vehicles on our island is expensive, very expensive: the Collectivity puts on a budget of 450.000 euros over three years, shared at 50% with the Agency for the Environment and the Control of Energy (Ademe). Beyond July 31, this service will be chargeable and individuals must bring their car to the ELV treatment center in Grandes Cayes. Only the treatment of the carcasses will then be paid for by the COM. If you wish to benefit from this service, contact Hélène Isaac at the management of the living environment at the following number: 05 90 52 27 30.
