With his brothers Thierry and Carlic, Jeremy Watt was summoned on October 24 before the local court of Saint-Martin for immediate appearance for having thrown stones at the gendarmes during a road check on October 11. Unlike his two brothers, Jeremy had asked for time to prepare his defense.

He was summoned again on Wednesday morning. As he had indicated during his police custody and then in court on October 24, he affirmed that he was not present at the time of the facts. However, on Wednesday he modified part of his version.

Until then, he had maintained that on October 11 he was partly Dutch for the realization of the fresco in Maho, but he corrected by specifying that he had spent the day of October 11 within the association "to do administrative ”. He had a confusion in the days. "I had spent the whole week partly Dutch and when the gendarmes asked me where I was on the 11th, I said that I was partly Dutch" instinctively, he confides. “The Guadeloupe artist who creates the fresco attests that they were together from October 5 to 10. Then my client took the artist back to the airport and, on Sunday, he went to the association to do administration, ”explains the board.

Jeremy produced screenshots of the association's computer on file to prove that he did a good job that day. He also explains that he tried to retrieve images from the eight surveillance cameras installed in the association's premises, but the retention period had expired.

Jeremy says he is aware that bad behavior on his part would harm his association which "works for young people".

The prosecutor requested twelve months in prison, a fine of 1 euros and a ban on carrying a weapon for five years. After deliberating, the court acquitted Jeremy Watt “for the benefit of the doubt” of the charges against him.
