The Bodybuilding Association of Saint-Martin (BFASM), is organizing the first Local Junior Bodybuilding, Fitness and Physics Championship, this Saturday, November 28, at the MJC in Sandy-Ground, for young people aged 17 to 23.
"This event is intended for young Saint-Martin residents in order to enhance them and to ensure the sustainability of sport on the island", underlines François Carty, president of BFASM.
It was with the assistance of Severin Pradel of "La Séverine Fitness" in Anguille that this competition was able to see the light of day. Thus, the young people of Saint-Martin and Anguille will be able to compete with each other this weekend at the MJC in Sandy-Ground and in April 2016, in Anguille. This competition is a general rehearsal before the IFBB World Junior Championship.
During this evening, many champions will be present, namely, Gueshaune Clark (the Anguille star), Guercin Junior (the “physical” man of Saint-Martin) and Elvina Matthew, the rising star in the “Bikini” category. " Without forgetting the performance of Mr. Olympia who is none other than Vernon Gamiette, only 8 years old!
