Weekly situation update reports 37 new cases have been recorded.
This brings the cumulative number of coronavirus cases confirmed by PCR testing to 213. 27 people are declared cured this week, bringing the total to 79 people.
15 confirmed Covid-19 patients are hospitalized. 4 other patients are in the intensive care unit of the CHU de Guadeloupe. The week of August 15 to 21, 67 new cases were observed.
Since August 22, 213 additional tests have been carried out in the laboratory and in the hospital, with a total number of 2845 tests performed.
In total, there are currently 128 active cases in the territory of Saint-Martin while Sint Maarten has 267 “active cases”.
