Nice end of the season for Aïkitaï Jutsu SXM!

The Aikido club created in 2010 by Félix Lake, 5th dan in this discipline, ends its season in beauty with the ranks of its students. Congratulations to all for their work and their beautiful spirit!

The Aikitai Jutsu SXM indeed organized over two days, June 10 and 11, his graduation. With no less than 25 members, the club was able to confirm the excellent work of the students, with no less than 4 brown belts, a 1st dan black belt and a 2nd dan black belt.

Located at the Hope Estate dojo, the Aikido club is in close collaboration with the Caribbean Karate Oyama by Thierry Saint-Auret, well known on our island.

Félix Lake was thus able to offer this season the opportunity for everyone to practice, during an internship, Viet Vo Dao with the arrival of Marc Raux, 6th dan in this art. The spirit of openness of the Hope Estate dojo clubs was widely demonstrated during this course, with the teaching of the three masters gathered for the occasion, and throughout the season thanks to the members of the clubs sharing the same want to enrich each other!

Aikido is a discipline that comes to us from Japan. Created at the beginning of the century by master Ueshiba, it is a concentrate of all Japanese martial arts, an art made not to overcome, but to suppress the notion of enemy. In summary, a lot of work on self-control and a great way to defend yourself. This art can be practiced at any age, by men and women. The dojo remains open this summer, you can come and see the lessons, or better: participate!
