SMBT International Tournament
The Caribbean tour "S" ended last Sunday, with the 5th edition of the SMBT international Beach-Tennis tournament, organized on the beach of Waïkiki.
In men, the pair Ramon Guedez / Régis Courtois achieved the double Saint-Barth / Saint-Martin against Aksel Samardzic Imac / Ali Colmenares, with a score of 6/2 6/4.
For women, the victory went to the pair Marisa Mora / Julie Labrit (also doubled) against Renatta Haoues / Adeline Arnaud on the mark of 6/3 6/2.
The mixed double was won by the duo Mendez / Haoues against Carlos G. Rivera / Marie-Pier Huet. The SMBT staff were very satisfied with the atmosphere that prevailed throughout the tournament. The organizers thank the numerous sponsors as well as the people who contributed to the success of this 5th edition. Special thanks to El maestro Alessandro Calbucci (world number 1), who in addition to coming to the island for 5 years, made the children happy on Sunday afternoon. A big up for Françoise, the director of the tournament, Hector, the Referee and Zoe Cochereau, the president and Laurent Delaval, who have worked hard for months for the success of this beautiful sporting event. _AF
