Nettle Bay: the Yacht Hop boat is approaching Nettle Bay


The Yacht Hop boat which anchored in Marigot Bay and which drifted during the night of March 1 to 2 last week towards Nettle Bay strongly approached the coast on Tuesday afternoon. With the heavy swell in recent days, it has indeed moved a lot. The chain of its anchor passed over the dike of rocks protecting the beach of a residence.

Several operations were carried out last week to free it from the sandy bottom in which it ran aground, but none succeeded.
