Auberge de mer: The merchants received at Semsamar

The merchants of the Auberge de mer were received on Monday October 22 at the SEMSAMAR premises. The Auberge de Mer, located at the Royal Marina, is in fact the subject of a decree (updated) by the president of the Collectivity, carrying ordinary danger. Semsamar, which has the concession, is summoned "to carry out the demolition work on the entire Auberge de Mer building, within two months from the notification of the update of the decree".

Without a proposed relocation for the moment, the thirty or so people working in the building have no idea of the turn that their professional life will take at the end of these two months of delays. "They told us they were determined to raze the building," reports a trader. For the time being, they have not been offered a specific solution. "A priori we should be put in prefabricated towards the old tourist office" continues the restaurateur.

They should soon be contacted by the COM which has announced that they want to manage "on a case by case basis". The community will take over the management of the marina in early 2019, the Semsamar concession contract expiring on December 31, 2018.

“However, when we asked what the marina rehabilitation project would be, we were not answered. Me, I want to wait two or three years in a prefab but only if I'm sure I have a room afterwards, ”says the trader.
