The Cultural and Sports Association Priority Education Zone of the Northern Islands (ACS ZEPIN) is an association that for twenty-five years has been working alongside educational actors for students on the island of Saint-Martin. On Tuesday, February 28, the association presented a similar check for 272 euros to Valérie Siobud-Romney, pedagogical advisor in music education in the district of the Northern Islands and responsible for the pedagogical project "Journey around the opera".
Accompanied by Valérie Samson, teacher at the Aline Hanson school and the students for whom she is responsible as part of this lyrical action entitled "Journey around the opera" which, for more than ten years, has aimed to initiate pupils from so-called cultural priority neighbourhoods, Valérie Siobud-Romney received the check for 272 euros from ACS ZEPIN from the association's president, Xavier Mirre-Minori, in the presence of Assia Saint -Charles and Valérie Vial, members of ACS ZEPIN. This sum makes it possible to finance the purchase order of the Cendrillon manuals by Gioacchino Rossi for the learning of songs and the approach to scores. The show put on as part of this action is scheduled for the month of June with more than 250 primary school students on stage. This is the tenth consecutive year that the association has provided assistance. Xavier Mirre-Minori specifies that these creative projects join the actions to which the ACS ZEPIN is sensitive to allow the assimilation of the artistic, historical and technical culture among the children and adolescents of Saint-Martin. _Vx
