ASSOCIATION: 300 Christmas gifts distributed to children in Quartier d'Orléans

More generous than ever, Lydia Lawrence, a Saint-Martin singer who needs no introduction, offered three hundred Christmas gifts to the students of the Eliane Clark kindergarten in Quartier d'Orléans.

The event was significant for the little ones last Thursday with the early arrival of Christmas and gifts. After decorating the large Christmas tree, Lydia Lawrence and her team distributed the 300 gifts collected through her association "A light for the islands" created in 2018 following the passage of hurricane Irma. With the same desire to provide support and help to the children of her native district, Lydia Lawrence once again proves through this action her attachment to her roots and her infallible hope in Saint-Martin youth.

Thanks to a partnership with Air Caraïbes, which covered the transport costs for delivering the presents, Mrs. Claus for a day arrived with her arms full of gifts for the children of the kindergarten whose eyes were sparkling with impatience. Stuffed animals, toys, the little ones did not hide their joy when they opened the gifts offered. Lydia Lawrence collects year-round donations for the children of Quartier d'Orléans. On September 7, more than 60 kilos of school supplies benefited the children of this area and its surroundings, distributed free of charge by the association “Une lumière pour les îles”. Congratulations to Lydia Lawrence… and Santa Claus! _VX
