Tableware: Grape Wine, a place to discover…

0

There are places that call for discovery and that sharpen your desire for surprises. Grape Wine, located in Hope Estate, is one of these magical places. The philosophy of the owners, Véronique Kretz and François Thiant, is to find products from suppliers, preferably family houses, recognized for their expertise.

In 2012, Grape Wine started out in a small room of 100 m2, before gradually progressing, to finally occupy the entire ground floor of the building, and then have created the Thiriet brand. The idea is to bring "a little what you like, and to find small niches, good products, so that everyone can have fun", assures Véronique. Always with the desire to give happiness to customers and make them feel good in a warm place, "it's a state of mind. We want to highlight traditions, conviviality… ”. Grape Wine works in particular with the Barthouil house located in Peyrehorade, near Dax, “we offer their rillettes from 4 euros. We have duck confits and gizzards, foie gras, smoked salmon, etc. ”.

The owners of the premises also collaborate with Barnier candies, produced in the cauldron since the 19th century, “it's a family, there is a story. We have to do with people, and not with multinationals ”. Coucougnettes, Galipettes, other traditional sweets that cannot be found everywhere, Iberian Bellota ham, “because we are in love with Spanish hams”, so many products that can be found on the shelves. "We have fun and at the same time we want to please". What Grape Wine has to offer is for all budgets and there is something for all prices, from decoration and groceries to wines and spirits. "We are distributors of the Ruinart brand, we work with the Lanson, Duboeuf, Tariquet houses, etc." Véronique insists, “don't be afraid to walk out the door, you will be welcomed and you will not be disappointed”._RM
