LOCAL ART: The Bubble Shop wall of creations

0

Bubble Shop is a boutique linked to the sea, run in joy and good humor by Sylvie and located at the roundabout of Cul de Sac (behind the Peninsula).

One of its walls is entirely devoted to the creations of local artists. The adventure began about a year ago when Sylvie offered a consignment to her friend Delphine, creator of the Ô Soleil Sxm brand, recognizable by her star. Other artists have since joined this collaboration which aims to be rewarding for these artisans of the island whose artistic theme is marine or maritime. In this panel of purely local products, we therefore find a variety of textiles (cushions, beach bags, foutas, dresses, T-shirts) from Ô Soleil, driftwood either engraved with CHAloha or in sculptures of fish or other creatures from the sea of Émilie et Sylvie (SXM Création), the magnificent raku ceramic pieces by Carla (Silver Door), the bracelets and necklaces with royal palm pearls hand painted by Pierre, the underwater photographs of Raphael and and finally, Loïc who recycles wood and packaging to make bottle openers, magnets and key rings.

The initiative is beautiful and the ideas of original gifts or local souvenirs are now launched. _VX
