Academic year 2022-2023: Increase in Student Mobility Aid

On May 12, the Executive Council doubled the higher scholarship as well as that of students with a level higher than or equal to bac+ 3 called “Incentive scholarship”.

In view of the economic and social repercussions of the COVID-19 health crisis, the significant rise in consumer prices, the cost of energy and, consequently, the deterioration in the situation of students, the Collectivity of Saint- Martin decides to increase the amount of Student Mobility Assistance significantly. 

Thus, during the meeting of May 12, 2022, the Executive Council doubled the amount allocated to Saint-Martin students pursuing their studies in the DOM-TOMs, or in Europe for the 2022-2023 academic year.

From September 2022, students whose file has been recognized as eligible will receive the sums set in accordance with the following table:

 

The executive council of May 12 also doubled the scholarship called "Incentive scholarship".

This specific mobility aid is allocated without conditions of resources and age limit, for the benefit of students with a level higher than or equal to bac+3, enrolled in priority courses meeting needs in sectors identified as generators of skilled jobs. From September 2022, the latter will receive the sums set in accordance with the following table:

They must provide proof of a valid certificate of registration and be destined for trades belonging to one of the following sectors:

– Teaching (Higher School of Teaching and Education);

– Health (Doctor, pharmacist, nurse, midwife, psychologist, etc.);

– Public administration (category A, A+);

- Building ;

– Land use planning and tourism development;

– Environment and renewable energies;

– New information and communication technologies;

– Social careers

– Law and justice

– Grandes Ecoles (HEC, DGAFP, MESR, EHESP, ENSA, ENM, ENSP, ENS, Polytechnique, etc.)

Aid for student mobility aims in particular to support them in an initial training course, in their efforts to obtain qualifications and/or to increase their skills, within the framework of the REACT-EU priority axis ( FSE) of the operational program ERDF-ESF Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin State 2014-2020.
