The Collectivity regularly raises public awareness of Alzheimer's disease. Last April, the Solidarity and Families Pole organized its second annual conference on this disease at the Maison des entreprises.
This time, the COM is setting up free training for family caregivers of people with Alzheimer's (or related diseases), in partnership with the France Alzheimer Guadeloupe association. “This training will transmit valuable tools on support and respect for patients, on the relationship between the patient and the caregiver; needs strongly expressed by family caregivers. ” The session will be offered from September 29 to October 1, 2016.
