Jean-Marc Negrit, President of the "Afrolatin'Move Association" can be legitimately satisfied with the success encountered during the 9th edition of the Afrolatin'Move SXM Festival. Dancers and organizers were thrilled!
"Thank you to you, students and spectators of the shows, who give us, at each edition, the desire to surpass ourselves and invite great artists who come to enrich our knowledge of Afro-Latin-Caribbean dances and music, thus highlighting honor Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Tango, Kuduro, Gwo Ka, etc… Your curiosity and your thirst for discovery are our main driving force.
Then, of course, thank you to all these artists who gave us the best of themselves during these few days, sharing their passion with humility, kindness and good humor: Alex & Désirée, Christian Sola and Alexandra, Eddie Torres Jr, Patrice Timba , Mickael, Idalines Medina, Cubaile, Alexis dit L'ange Noir and Elodie Catena, Cédric and Véronique, Simona Petric and Steven, Flavie Merise, Ludovic and Olivier, Madinina Touch ', Salsazul, Jessica Romage, DJ Camino, the Afrolatin'girls , Isabelle and Nicolas, Daniel and Laura,, the SESSAD brotherhood group, and LATIN'SUGAR.
A huge thank you also to all the sponsors who make this dream possible with each edition.
In a world where money does not make people happy but still contributes greatly, we could not undertake all of this and take up this challenge as we did again this year.
Finally, "last but not least", I obviously do not forget my fabulous team: the AFROLATIN'MOVE team, which works all year round behind the scenes to bring the association to life through courses and events that we regularly organize: Hélène, Rénata, Candide, Alain, Doriane and Steve, Eric, Daniel, Déborah, Cati, Fernand, Rudy. You deserve your vacation: you are at the top!
THANK YOU also to all those whom I have not named and who have contributed, directly or indirectly, to the success of this festival and who will recognize themselves.
See you next year, for an even more fantastic new edition ”!
Jean-Marc NEGRIT
