As for the council of the COM, he asked for a referral to be able to bring his conclusions. After noting that "the COM seized its lawyer the day before the hearing whereas it had known of the date since July", the prosecution considers that "the COM is trying to advance its pawns" and that there has "an obvious confusion of roles". "There is nothing in common in the two cases, the president is accused on the one hand of violations of public procurement regulations *, on the other, two companies have benefited from public funds" , indicates the deputy prosecutor who understands that the parties want to save time. "But we are not going to stack all the pots," he said, before trying to empty them.
Faced with the absence of advice, the court was forced to grant the referral until March 10, 2022.
* The trial will take place on January 17 and 18, 2022.
