Air: In full containment, a crowded Pointe-à-Pitre-Paris flight is controversial

A passenger on an Air France flight, which took off on April 29 from Pointe-à-Pitre to Paris, is outraged by the conditions of her flight. No social distancing rule was observed at the airport and on the aircraft.

A passenger on the Air France AF793 commercial flight on April 29 connecting Pointe-à-Pitre to Paris does not take off. The reason ? His plane was full, with 472 passengers, and no social distancing rule was applied on board.

Cindy's astonishment began as soon as she arrived at the Pôle Caraïbes airport in Pointe-à-Pitre. She claims the hall was full, almost like an ordinary day. In addition, no verification of travel certificates was carried out.

“The air in the cabins is recycled every three minutes”

Once in the aircraft, she discovers that no seat is left free between the passengers. The plane is full and everyone is therefore seated normally. If there is no hydroalcoholic gel, everyone wears their mask, even if it is of course removed to eat or drink.

Contacted by the local press, Claude Sarre, regional director of Air France-KLM Caraïbes, confirms the veracity of the passenger's testimony. He explains that Air France applies physical distancing “when the aircraft is filled less than 70%”, which was not the case for the flight in question where the aircraft was full. In this case, the company undertakes to distribute masks to passengers who are not equipped with them.

Last argument put forward by the company: air filtration. According to Claude Sarre, planes are equipped with particulate filters similar to those used in surgical units. “The air in the aircraft cabins is recycled every three minutes,” he says.

Letting go of the authorities and their lies, AF must be condemned for not having respected the confinement of its passengers. Lax border police. An incompetent government.

And in addition we will have to pay taxes to satisfy the loan financed by our taxes to “save” Air France ???? And the small traders will die without help (1000euros… ??) what a shame and the French only think of their upcoming vacation, but in what world do the French live? They are asleep, resigned to be assisted sheep. They would have to be out by the millions to screw this system up. But it won't come so don't complain in the future….

… I am not defending Air France but we are still in a pandemic and these planes are not yet equipped and adapted to the health situation, because it is very complicated to travel unless you have an extraordinary exemption to travel ... those who have it remain privileged ... so this fame had to refuse to travel, that would have one person less for the means she asks for ... lpl

we only donate 70 million to hospitals and 500 million euros to save fnac. ???? should we explain that to the french? why the private sector receives so much money and the public a lousy sum? by whom is this country ruled, surtt asked this question? those in power defend the interests of big companies, the captalist system more than the interests of the French, we can see it very well through the distribution of funds. Your turn to judge ?

That does not surprise me only half ... No control ... Crowded plane ... By a company helped by the state. But it's not just that
On March 16 and 17, in full confinement, the planes left Roissy on a daily summer vacation. And flights continued with Italy and on the way. Paris airport was losing money… Health comes second. There is only to see the explosion of flights over certain departments. And the Terminal 4 construction project… Even if the people below sleep badly and even if it is recognized that their life expectancy is reduced by noise and pollution.

This person had the choice not to take the flight; she is undoubtedly very happy to return to Paris. The human being is always unhappy

    Hello,
If you're not happy, take the boat.
    Grumbling won't get things done.
Let's think about our future, ...

Air France is the only company to ensure the connection to the Antilles and does not hesitate to armor its planes without respecting health measures. And she allows herself to ask for financial assistance from the State (OUR TAXES) !!!! What about other companies? Let us be virulent on the danger of the monopoly of Air France, which is not the company which offers the best service !!!!

Totally agree with Thierry. It is a shame this Pointe à Pitre flight as well as that of Marseille for those who are confining themselves by respecting all the instructions for 6 weeks it is unacceptable this all for the money. What are all these people doing in these planes in full confinement in France? I wish to know.
