On Saturday August 20 around 21 p.m., the Sint Maarten police were informed of a traffic accident resulting in injuries on AJC Brouwer Road.
Dispatched to the scene, the police patrol noted the accident involving a white Hyundai I-10 and a black Ford Eco-sport. Apparently, the driver of the I-10 going downhill towards the Kruithoff roundabout in Cole Bay, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the oncoming Ford Eco-sport. Following the impact between the two cars, the driver of the white Hyundai was slightly injured in the shoulder. The victim was taken care of on the spot by the emergency services in order to receive emergency first aid. The Sint Maarten Police Traffic Department is still investigating this traffic accident._VX
