St. Maarten Academy: governor's visit

0

Governor Eugene Holiday recently visited the St. Maarten Academy as part of his initiative to educate students about the role of civic responsibility. He encouraged them to know their talents, explaining that their imaginations could lead them to success. The governor then gave a conference to students of the CAPE (Caribbean Advanced Placement Examination) classes on the theme of civic responsibility, which he defined as “a duty” to contribute positively to the country. On this occasion, he spoke about rights and freedoms, but also his own experiences. The governor, who said that students are the future of the territory, was "very impressed" with their level of work. _EH
