Mrs. L., a former home aide, was accused of using the bank card of an elderly person in her care, to make purchases on the internet. Facts that date back to September 2012. The damages are estimated at 3.200 euros.
At the hearing last Thursday, Mrs. L. was accused of having bought on the internet a plane ticket and hair extensions with the blue card of Mrs. GG According to the investigators, it is the son of the victim who discovered withdrawals made online. At the helm, Mrs. L. explains that she accepted a "poisoned gift" from the granny. She specifies that the latter would have voluntarily told her to take her bank card in order to offer herself gifts. "It was a mistake," she replies in defense. The court sentenced Ms. L. to six months suspended prison sentence for breach of trust. She will also have to pay a fine of 1.000 euros. _KL
