On the occasion of the commemoration of victory and peace of November 11, 1918, a ceremony will be organized in front of the Monument Aux Morts de Saint-Martin on Sunday November 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., during which the deposits of sheaves of officials.
In the second part of the ceremony, the Prefect, Sylvie Feucher will award distinctions:
2 medals for internal security with two gendarmes,
10 medals for acts of courage and dedication to civilians.
Sint Maarten Day
In addition, the celebration of "Sint Maarten Day 2019" will be held Monday November 11 from 7 am partly Dutch.
The program will be as follows: 
• 07:00 am: Mass at the Methodist Church in Philipsburg
• 08:45 am: Wreath laying, Bellevue border monument
• 11:15 am: Official speeches, Festival Village
• 12:15 am: Officials lunch, government building of Sint Maarten
Cultural events open to the public will also take place throughout the afternoon and evening at the Festival Village. _AF
