Delinquency: A student arrested in possession of two knives

A police patrol from the Philipsburg police station was sent to one of the high schools in South Reward, where they were told that a student was in possession of a knife.

At the scene, the police discovered that the student had a curved knife considered dangerous. The young man was arrested by the police and the knife seized. During the search of the student's clothes, police officers discovered a second knife which was also confiscated. He was taken to the police station where he was handed over to the Department of Minors.

The Sint Maarten police force encourage parents to cooperate in dealing with the serious situations unfolding with their minor children in the vicinity of the Sint Peters secondary school and the South Reward sector. _RM
