As part of the income tax campaign for 2015, the president of the Aline Hanson Community provided details concerning the calculation of tax according to categories of taxpayers. Non-residents who receive at least 75% of their income in Saint-Martin are now assimilated to residents. "Even if legally these homes remain non-residents, their tax will be calculated according to the same rules for residents of St. Martin," said the president to the press last week. Taxpayers will receive an explanatory note. Finally, the so-called “five-year” rule is still in force: the persons concerned must send a declaration to Guadeloupe and another to the tax department at Concordia._EH
