July 14: Saint-Martinois on the Champs-Elysées

The President of the Republic wished to invite, for the ceremony which took place on the Champs Elysées this Tuesday, July 14, the nursing staff, civil servants, employees and representatives of civil society who have distinguished themselves in the management of Covid-19 health crisis

Concerning the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, the 10 people below among all those who were deserving during this crisis were invited by the President of the Republic and his wife.

Wilda Angervil, ED nurse and Sandrine Leroux, nursing assistant, both from the Covid-19 service as well as Vincent Haegaert, head of the medicine and emergency department, represented the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital.

Guy Leduck, pharmacist in Grand-Case, Pierre-Yves Merlet, liberal doctor, Pénélope Alric, head of SPIC at the prefecture of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, Sabrina Rivère, director of Initiative Saint-Martin Active, Sébastien Lagarrigue, administrative and financial manager of Super U, Sylvain Nicolas, captain at PAF and Peggy Oulerich, director of the Cobraced association.

Our 10 representatives were able to attend the July 14 parade in the official platform, near President Macron and his wife. They were all delighted and honored by this invitation that they are dedicating to all those who have worked directly or indirectly to manage this crisis well.

Regarding Initiative Saint-Martin Active, it should be recalled that this dynamic association had been mobilized to organize the manufacture of 38000 masks in fabrics to distribute them to the population of Saint-Martin.

She took care with the support of the Prefecture and the Collectivity, cutting, manufacturing management and grant files with the foundation of France in order to pay the courageous and deserving seamstresses.
