As part of the population census which will take place until February 27, eleven officers have been trained this year by the Community. 1200 households will be visited by an enumerator. The affected residents were notified by letter from President Aline Hanson, COM announced. The census of people living on a boat and of the homeless will take place on January 21 and 22. “Framed by law, the census is a civic act which makes it possible to establish precise statistics on the population and the dwellings occupied on the territory. These statistics are all the more important as they also make it possible to define the amount of budgetary allocations paid by the State to the Collectivity ”, points out the COM in a press release.
